1. ABOUT THIS POLICY  

1.1. This Website www.amahvas.com  (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”) is managed by VASARAI LLP, formed and registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 having LLPIN ACP-1434 and registered office address at N 131, Gurugram, Arjun Nagar, Gurgaon, Arjun Nagar, Haryana, 122001, India (collectively referred to as “We/Us/ Amahvas). 

1.2. Amahvas is committed to protect the privacy of individuals.  This Policy serves as a Privacy Notice for the Platform and the Services provided under it.  As a User You may visit and/or browse the Platform, purchase products, or enquire or avail any other ancillary services from this Platform. To facilitate the use of these services We shall ask Your consent before collecting or processing Your PI. 

2. SCOPE AND APPLICABILITY

2.1. This Policy is published and shall be construed in accordance with the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules 2025 and the Information Technology Act 2000 and Rules thereunder and other applicable laws enacted from time to time.

2.2. This Policy applies to all Personal Information that We collect/receive from:

a. Visitors to the Platform and App.

b. Customers who buy products from Us;

c. Users who communicate with Us. 

2.3. The Policy does not apply to any aggregated or de-identified data that cannot be reasonably re-identified. 

2.4. This Privacy Policy shall be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of the Platform. 

3. DEFINITIONS

3.1. Account means the online account registered by You/ User and includes any profiles, pages, handles, email address, mobile number and other similar presences by means of which You are able to access the Platform or use any of the services 

3.2. Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.

3.3. Consent means an affirmative action signifying Your agreement to the processing of Your Personal Information.

3.4. Data Fiduciary means any person who alone or in conjunction with other persons determines the purpose and means of processing of personal data i.e. Amahvas when it collects PI about You;

3.5. Data Processor means any person who processes personal data on behalf of a Data Fiduciary

3.6. Lawful Guardian shall mean an individual who is legally appointed to provide consent on behalf of a minor child or a Person with Disability. 

3.7. Minor shall mean any person below the age of 18 years.

3.8. Notice refers to any written or electronic communication, including this Privacy Policy, by which Amahvas informs its Users of the nature, purpose, legal basis, and conditions of processing of their PI in compliance with the Applicable Laws.

3.9. Platform refers to www.amahvas.com

3.10. Personal Information/PI includes any information or set of information, whether alone or in combination with other personal information which is sufficient to identify the User. 

3.11. Persons with Disability shall have the same meaning as defined under Section 2(s) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 

3.12. Service (s) refers to the products and/or services provided through the Platform

3.13. Service Provider refers to any third-party legal entity/company or individuals, whether located in India or abroad, who provide Services and processes PI on our behalf, including but not limited to website hosting, payment processing, order fulfilment, customer support, marketing, data analytics, logistics, IT infrastructure or any other ancillary operational function. 

3.14. Usage Data refers to data generated using the Services on the Platform.

User/ Consumer/ You/Your User means the individual accessing/viewing the Products or using the service, or the company/corporate entity, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing, viewing, purchasing the products or using the service, as applicable.


4. WHEN DO WE NEED TO PROCESS YOUR PI?

At the time of Account creation: While creating Account on the Platform, You will be required to provide the following PI: 

  1. Name

  2. Email ID/ Phone Number



  1. To allow You to access, operate, maintain Your Account and provide you with the Services on the Platform.  

  2. To communicate with You regarding Your orders, items in shopping cart; recommend products and services based on Your interests, provide customer support and resolve issues including returns/exchanges; send promotional offers, newsletters and marketing communications; issue security alerts and fraud notices; changes and updates. 


4.2

At the time of Checkout :

  1. At the time of making any purchases on the Platform, You shall be required to provide the following PI: 

  1. Name

  2. Phone Number

  3. Email address

  4. Shipping Address

  5. Payment Method


  1. In case You share information about another person or in event of a Delivery to a location other than the one shared earlier, the same shall also be subject to the terms of this Policy.


  1. All financial transaction details are secure and encrypted. We only store the limited transaction logs and purchase history for limited purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations towards You. We do not store or process any such financial information and the same is collected and processed by trusted third-party payment gateway (RazorPay). 


  1. To make purchases on the Platform, avail discounts, deliver products, maintain order and purchase history, transaction details and payment logs, verify Users on the Platform, display content such as wish lists and customer reviews.

  2. To communicate One Time Passwords (OTPs) on the registered Mobile Number or Email Address.


  1. To enable You to view Your purchase history and transaction details.

5. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE POLICY

We value our brand and Your privacy. We do not sell or otherwise disclose Your PI that We collect about You for monetary or other valuable consideration. We engage trusted service providers to fulfill Our contractual obligations. These Service Providers are bound by legal obligations as per the applicable laws. We urge You to read their Privacy Policies to understand how they collect and process Your PI. The entities which We have engaged include:

5.1. Third-Party Service Providers

5.1.1. E-commerce services Our Platform is powered by Shopify. To understand how Shopify collects and processes Your PI, please refer to Shopify’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy available at https://www.shopify.com/in/legal/privacy and https://www.shopify.com/in/legal/cookies .

5.1.2. Payment GatewayWe use third party payment gateway/ aggregator i.e., Razorpay to process payments on Our Platform. To understand how RazorPay collects and processes Your PI, please refer to the RazorPay’s Privacy Policy available at (_https://razorpay.com/privacy/_)

5.1.3. IT Service Providers - We use Google Analytics for the purpose of marketing, advertisement and understanding user preferences. To understand how Google collects and processes Your PI, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy available at (_https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-IN)  

5.1.4. Logistics and delivery We also share Your PI such as name, email, contact, shipping address with our logistics and delivery partners to fulfill Your purchases and delivery of products and services to You. 

5.2. Affiliates and Subsidiaries - Additionally, we may disclose Your PI to our affiliates and other entities under our ownership or control, in a manner and to the extent permitted under applicable law.

5.3. Legal Disclosures - We may disclose Your PI where such disclosure to legal authorities and representatives is necessary to comply with the law of the land.  

5.4. Mergers & Acquisitions - In the event, we undergo any merger, acquisition, or sale of Our assets, in part or in full, with another company/ entity, or in the unlikely event that We go out of business or enters bankruptcy. Any processing of Your PI would still be subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy. 

6. TRANSPARENCY AS TO THE RIGHTS OF USERS

6.1. When You choose to engage and share Your PI with Us, you shall have the rights to know about the status of the PI that You have shared with Us. You may also nominate another individual exercise Your rights in the event of death or incapacity and inform of us of the same as per Clause 14 of this Policy.

6.2. In case You delete Your Account or withdraw consent, we shall cease to further be processing of Your PI however, such deletion/withdrawal of consent shall not be applicable on the PI already processed.  

6.3. Furthermore, upon receipt of Your request to delete Your PI, we shall delete Your PI unless its retention is necessary for legal compliances as specified in clause 7 below.

6.4. We reserve the right to refuse or entertain any frivolous and/or repeated requests.

7. DELETION & RETENTION POLICY

7.1. PI shall be stored for as long as it is required, for the purpose(s) fulfil Our contractual obligations in consonance with the Services provided to You or as  underlined by  law ;

7.2. In case You choose to delete Your Account and/or request erasure of Your PI from the Platform, Your PI, any associated traffic data and other logs of processing shall be retained for a period of one (01) year from the date of such processing, unless further retention is required for compliance with any other law for the time being in force, post which Your PI will be disposed off in accordance with the practices specified under the Applicable Law. 

8. INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY

8.1. We implement reasonable, technical and organizational measures to protect your PI from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures are designed in accordance with the Applicable Law including but not limited to:

8.1.1. Technical measures such as encryption, access controls, firewalls, secure servers and malware protection.

8.1.2. Organizational measures such as role-based access, employee confidentiality obligations, incident response protocols.

8.1.3. Contractual measures requiring our Service Providers to maintain similar levels of security, protection and to process PI only as per Our instructions. 

8.2. While We take all reasonable precautions to safeguard Your PI, no system can guarantee is 100% security. In the event of any incident/data breach, we shall take all appropriate steps under the Applicable Laws to mitigate any loss(es) occurred. 

9. CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER

This Policy governs the processing of PI collected through Our Platform within the territory of India. 

10. CHILDREN'S/MINOR'S DATA

We do not target and/or seek to collect any PI of an individual below the age of 18 years. 

11. DATA OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

In case any User is unable to give Consent because of a disability, We encourage the Lawful Guardian of such User to do the same. We do not collect any PI that may reveal or infer a User’s disability status. In the event that We become aware that such information has been collected without the knowledge or consent of the Lawful Guardian of such User, We reserve the right to immediately delete the information. 

12. THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

The Platform may contain links to third-party Platforms, applications, social media platforms or promotional partners, that are not owned or controlled by Us. Similarly, you may choose to interact with Us through some other third-party Platform, social media Platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, etc., not owned or controlled by Us. The Usage and processing of Your PI over such Platforms shall be subject to the privacy policies of the respective third party and social media platforms. 

13. COMMUNICATION POLICY

13.1. We may communicate with you for purposes related to the services you have opted to receive. Such communication may include, but is not limited to, matters concerning order placement, payment processing, product availability, delivery, invitations to consider additional or new services offered by us, as well as marketing campaigns, promotional offers, and other informational content. 

13.2. Such communication may be through the Platform or by other means, including but not limited to telephone, SMS (short messaging service), electronic mail (e-mail), WhatsApp or any other messaging service/mobile application, or any other physical, electronic, or digital medium. 

13.3. If at any time You wish to opt out of receiving commercial communications from Amahvas, except those required by law, you may do so by:

13.3.1. Clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided in email communications;

13.3.2. Replying “STOP” to SMS messages; 

14. NOTICES AND REVISIONS

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Additionally, we will let You know via email prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. 

15. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

15.1. If You have any questions, comments, or concerns about our Privacy Policy, inquiries, concerns or complaints regarding your PI or this Policy, You may contact:

15.2. We shall respond to Your requests within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with the Applicable Law not extending beyond 90 days from the receipt of such request. In case where We are unable to process Your request, we shall duly provide You with a justifiable reason for the same.
